A six-month program for young women referred by their probation officers.
The young people reside with PLEA Family Caregivers who are part of the treatment team and are trained to reinforce the learning from the day treatment program. They are also trained in detox, stabilization and supported recovery. Day, evening and weekend programming, located at separate day centres, includes individual and group counselling, an education program delivered by District #43 (Surrey) teachers, parent-teen mediation and family counselling, and a wide range of social and recreational activities.
