Group Description
Parents will learn strategies for dealing with young people ages 14-24 who have a concurrent disorder (substance and mental health issue).
Groups are scheduled from time to time by the Centre for Concurrent Disorders, a community-based, outpatient service funded by Vancouver Coastal Health. The program supports those individuals with an apparent addiction disorder along with a serious psychiatric illness (such as clinical depression, anxiety, or thought disorders).
