A youth counselor provides individual counseling, and conducts a North Shore group as well, for teens with addiction issues—their own or their parents'. The treatment philosophy is congruent with harm reduction.
The Alternatives Society's services are delivered within a family model of self-referral and voluntary participation. Support is offered to family members of participating teens.
